As we know. the recent Northern Gateway Pipeline proposes to construct 2 parallel grapevines that stretch across from the oil littorals of Alberta to the BC Coast of Kitimat. This Northern Gateway Pipeline has stirred negative contention recently due to its impact on the local community during its building. A cardinal stakeholder against the building of this grapevine is the BC Environmental Network who has significant claims that the environmental hazards involved will negatively impact the local community. These important hazards involve major menaces to wild life and the turning wellness concerns of communities populating around the grapevine. 1. Major menaces to wild life: Based on old instances of industrial development in Alberta. there has been a crisp diminution in certain species due to the loss of home ground and toxic condition of chemicals.
